Drugstore Makeup Finds

Drugstore Makeup Finds

There are certain makeup items that I’m willing to splurge on because I’ve been using them for years and know they work.. on the other hand I think there are some great makeup finds from the drugstores that are just as good! So I’m just going to share some of my favorite budget-friendly makeup finds that I’ve been loving lately.

Wet N Wild Highlight in shade Blossom Glow ($4.68): I was using a more expensive highlighter that was around $40, and felt like I couldn’t even tell when I had it on. I am in love with this highlighter, and won’t be looking for any other highlighter. You can’t beat the price, and this will last you so long. I do want to say that a little goes a long way.

Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer in shade Sunkissed ($13.23): I have been using Physician’s Formula Bronzer since I was in high school. I love this brand, and I’m loving this Butter Bronzer. I have tried several different and more expensive bronzers from Sephora and Ulta, and keep coming back to this one. To be honest I’m done wasting my money on more expensive bronzers and plan to just stick to this one.

ELF Poreless Putty Primer ($8): I’ve been using the YSL primer for several years now and absolutely love it! I 100% recommend the. YSL primer, however, I was looking for something less expensive to add into my makeup routine. I saw a beauty blogger talk about this primer and went out and bought it the next day. It did not disappoint! I haven’t even used my YSL primer since purchasing the ELF primer. I will definitely still use my YSL primer, but will continue to use the ELF primer and save some money. The YSL primer is about $55-60, so finding something I love for $8 is a win for me.

Real Technique Beauty Blender ($4.88): Hands down the best beauty blender. I have used more expensive beauty blenders and this is by far the best one. I’m only using these sponges from here on out. It makes such a difference how good my makeup goes on and looks when I’m finished compared to other beauty blenders.

Real Technique Everyday Essentials Makeup Brush Set ($19.98): I needed some new makeup brushes and bought these since I have been using this brand of beauty blenders and love them. I am really loving these brushes, and love that you can buy them individually or is different sets.

Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipstick in shade Box O Chocolate ($7.97): This is such a fun shade for the fall and winter time. This is a shade that I wouldn’t normally go for, but saw it on someone else and loved it. This is definitely a lippie that stays on all day long, and did I mention it actually smells like chocolate!

NYX Slim Lip Liner Pencil in shade Nude Truffle ($9.19): This is the lip liner I like to use with the Box O Chocolate liquid lipstick. I also own several other shades of their lip liners. They’re a great quality and a great price.

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in shade Seductress ($7.98): I have this liquid lipstick in four different shades, and is by far my most use lipstick. This shade in particular is the one I wear the most. I like to apply this and let it dry, and then put on a little chapstick. This liquid lipstick stays on all day long, and I just like to apply the chapstick throughout the day because I don’t like lipstick to feel dry.
