What is TULA and why did I start using it?
This is a topic I have been wanting to write about for a while now. I have been using Tula products for almost a year now, and feel so passionate about this skin care line. So what is Tula? Tula is a skincare line based around probiotic technology for the skin. I was using Clinique’s three-step routine, but about a year ago started experiencing some changes with my skin. I started using different products within the Clinique brand, but still had no luck with my skin. I had seen so many bloggers share their Tula products, but assumed these products were really expensive. After a couple of months of trying different products and different routines I was desperate, and willing to splurge on anything to help my skin get back to normal. I went online to purchase some Tula products and couldn’t believe the price point. The prices were no different than what I was paying for my Clinique products. Tula’s skincare line is also for all skin types which is amazing!
What is my daily routine?
I use a three-step Tula routine twice a day. This consists of their purifying cleanser, pro-glycolic resurfacing gel, and hydrating day and night cream. I can’t even explain to you how amazing this cleanser is. I can’t live without it. I’ve used cleansers in the past that still left makeup on after I’ve washed my face, but with this cleanser my face has never felt cleaner and gets every last bit of your makeup off. My face also has a glow after using this cleanser. This toner is AMAZING! Seriously! Other toners I have used in the past have left my face feeling so dry, but this toner is a gel and does not leave my face feeling dry at all. This day and night hydrating cream is the perfect way to complete my skincare routine. Before using Tula I was always looking for more moisture, and with this skincare routine I’ve gotten just that. Their moisturizer is also very light-weight, and a little goes a long way. I’m so obsessed with these three products that I always keep a travel size kit with all of them so that I can pack in my carry-on, just in case my checked luggage gets lost. That’s how crazy I am about these products!
Auto-delivery service
Tula offers a subscription service which also gets you 10% off your order. I signed up to have the above three products sent to me every three months, and they just auto-pay at that time. This means I don’t have to worry about ordering every time I’m running low, it just arrives on my doorstep every three months, or however often you prefer. For me, three months is perfect, and I never run out of my products before then. One of the great perks about signing up for their auto-delivery service is that they send you a free gift which each delivery. This is a great way to try their products that you may not have tried otherwise. I have discovered several products that I have since purchased after trying their trial size gifts, and have quickly become favorites.
My other can’t-live-without TULA products
Some of my other can’t-live-without Tula products are my Dual-Phase Skin Reviving Treatment Pads, Kefir Moisture Repair Pressed Serum, and Kefir Ultimate Recovery Mask. The Dual-Phase Skin Reviving Treatment Pads are seriously like little mini facials. I do these about once a week, and am amazed every time at how soft my face feels afterwards. You can use these pads or mini facial pads as I like to call them, one to two times a week. I like to bring one or two of these with me any time we travel. These are also great to use before I use my sunless tanner, since I always like to exfoliate beforehand. One of the other products I do about once a week is the Kefir Ultimate Recovery Mask. You just put a couple of pumps on your face, and wait for the miracle to happen. You wash it off with a warm damp washcloth and your skin feels so incredibly smooth and moisturized afterwards. This is also a great product to take with you when traveling. I like to use this product after I’ve been on a plane for hours, and my skin feels so dry. The last product I wanted to share with you guys is their Kefir Moisture Repair Pressed Serum. This serum is INCREDIBLE! This is a great product to have especially in the winter when your skin is dry due to the weather. You can feel this serum working all day long. Your skin has never felt so moisturized as it does when you use this serum. If my skin is feeling extra dry I will put this on after I’ve washed my face and used my toner, then apply my Day and Night Hydrating cream over top of it. This is something I use year-round, but more often in the winter. I also like to bring this with me on any beach trips, because if my face gets too much sun I like to use this serum and keep my skin nice and moisturized and prevent it from peeling.
New products I just started using
I just started using a couple new products from Tula. The first is their Face Filter Blurring and Moisturizing Primer. I love this product so much and for many different reasons. I first wanted to try this product because it lessens the appearance of redness instantly, and if used on a regular basis, helps lessen redness long-term. It also gives your face an instant “filter”. I didn’t believe other bloggers when they came out with this product and started reviewing it. You guys, this stuff literally is a filter for your face!! I love this product for days I’m working, because I don’t wear makeup to work and I can put this on and feel more put together and less red. This product is seriously incredible! The second product I just recently started using is their Glow and Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm stick. I use this with and without makeup, if I’m wearing makeup I put it on last and use it almost like a highlighter. It instantly hydrates and gives you a beautiful glow. It also helps to fill in fine lines around your eyes. You can also carry this in your purse and reapply it throughout the day.
So if you can’t tell by now I am obsessed with all things TULA. I can’t recommend this skincare line enough! I’ve linked every product that I talked about in this post, and also own every single one of these products.
